| 内容記述 | For the purpose of investigating how to improve working condition of port workers, we carried out a case study on real cargo handing work at port of Yokohama. Such three types of cargo handling work as the work done in a conventional general cargo vessel, the work to handle containers, and the work done inside a container were observed and analyzed. Time study, work load measurement, accidents analysis, measurement of visual sight of large mechanical handling machines, development of communication aids, and interviews were our main methods in the case study. The important results are followings ; 1. Communication aids, must be developed, 2. resting time must be increased, 3. Resting facilities must be provided in every wharf, 4. Education and training program must be improved, and 5. Reducing the speed of cargo handling is expected. |
