In the various field, we have to reform, redesign, reconstruct and reorganize various environments, facilities and social services to prepare safe and comfortable everyday life for elderly people.\nIn this sense, we carried out a field research on the living situation of elderly people in 1995. We made interviews to elderly people and measured various dimensions of facilities and equipment of their house.\nWe found they had various difficulties to maintain their everyday lives, and such difficulties were produced from not only their morphological problems but also their individual health situation.
