Nagano prefecture annual reports and statistical findings for the 44 years between 1967 and 2010 were analyzed. The relationship between Nagano measures for health promotion and nutrition improvement and various statistics and findings were examined. A questionnaire about social environments to support a low salt diet was conducted.  As a result of various assessments, the enforcement situation of health promotion and nutrition improvement measures that improved a PDCA cycle was clarified. The importance of adjustment in nutrition education according to age group, in particular, the young generation, was shown in order to maintenance sodium restriction which is thought to be effective in cerebral apoplexy and anti-hypertension measure.
