Mura-yakus play very important roles to integrate public order of a village society, to consolidate inhabitants, and to run a village as a community. This Mura-yaku system is traditionally very common in Japanese villages. This year we made a research on the real situation of Mura-yaku in Village A located depopulation area by analyzing various name lists of Mura-yaku, interviews and questionnaire to persons concerned including aged people. As a result we found the reformation of Mura-yaku system is urgent need to brake depopulation and to prevent disruption of a village society. Because the population, particularly its of relatively younger people decreased, while the number of Mura-yaku did not decrease. Nowadays Mura-yaku is very hard for not only aged people but also relatively younger people to fulfill. It was not so rare that younger people left the village to get rid of Mura-yaku. We have to reform Mura-yaku system to reduce the burden of Mura-yaku which is one reason to accelerate depopulation.}, pages = {33--47}, title = {過疎山村における村役の実態とその問題 : 長野市近郊A村におけるケース}, volume = {48}, year = {1993}, yomi = {シモダイラ, ヨシエ and オオハシ, ノブオ} }
