We have investigated their family situation through repeated interview researches. We have two main concerns. One is live of elderly people living alone. Another is live of their children living in other places. AIso we liked to know usual contacts of elderly people and their children, future possibility to live together, and so on. The important results were followings ; If elderly people are specifically healthy, they can maintain their daily live by themselves and their children can work and live in other places apart from their parents. However, if elderly people get ill or some disorder on their health, serious problem appears. The problem is that who care elderly people. In the present social situation in Japan it is very hard to solve the problem, because it is expected for children to care their parents. But it is very seldom for children to be able to move their working and living place to care their parents. AIso it is very hard for elderly to leave their place where they have lived for long to start their new life in unfamiliar place where children have lived. We have to change paradigm concerning the care system for elderly. The care for elderly must be carried out fundamentally by not their own family but the social support organized in the community where elderly have been living. Such various social situation as the changes in the function of family, occupational structure, decrease of children, rapid increase of elderly people, and so on demand paradigm changes about the care system.}, pages = {19--32}, title = {過疎山村における独居高齢者の家族状況から見た高齢者の生活支援のあり方について}, volume = {52}, year = {1997}, yomi = {シモダイラ, ヨシエ and オオハシ, ノブオ} }
