After 6.5 months of age, more than 65% of infants were willing to eat weaning food. Average times required for eating were about 5 min. at 5.0 months, about 10-15 min. at 5.5 to 7.0 months of age, about 20 min. at 7.5 to 9.0 months of age, about 25 min. at 9.5 months. At 10.5 months, all infants could bring a part of the meal into their mouths, and 77% of infants could bring most or all the weaning foods into their mouths at 12.0 months.
