Therefore EFL teachers need to create tasks for authentic use of English. Computer-mediated communication provides many options for using English to interact with foreigners in meaningful ways and for culture learning. This paper presents tasks that created a real audience for writing an introduction letter, requesting a pamphlet from a foreign school and developing a friendship with an American university student.
